SHACKELFORD LEADS EAGLES TO 4TH TITLE IN ROW
LA CROSSE, Wis. - Kolby Shackelford grabbed medalist honors Tuesday and led the Kirkwood men's golf team to its fourth title in a row at the V-Hawk Invitational.
Shackelford finished at 3-under-par 141 with rounds of 70 and 71 at the La Crosse Country Club. Brandon McCarty of Kirkwood tied for second at 3-over 147.
The Eagles won the five-team event by eight strokes over Winona State, 595 to 603.
JD Pollard of Kirkwood tied for sixth place at 8-over 152. Jax Stelzer shared ninth place at 11-over 155. Kyle Arthofer tied for 13th at 14-over 158.
