Bio

Brett Baumgart is in his 3^rd year of assistant coach for the Kirkwood golf team after helping the team the previous two years to Regional championships and 5^th place finishes at the national tournament.  Prior to coaching, he was a Kirkwood graduate from 2002-2004 where he was a member of the golf and basketball teams.  After Kirkwood, he then transferred to Grand View College where was also a member of the golf and basketball teams. 

Baumgart earned his degree in Business from Grand View college and has been the Recreation Services Supervisor at the Michael J Gould Kirkwood recreation center for the last 11 years.  He's a native of Coralville, IA and currently lives in Cedar Rapids with his two sons, Bryce and Brock.
