Bio

Ahmad Pender Jr. is entering his second season with the Eagles. Before coming to Kirkwood he spent one season as junior varsity coach at William Penn University. 

Before his coaching career, Pender played one season (2017-2018) at the University of Wisconsin-Washington County where he was named to the 2nd team all-conference. Pender then transferred to William Penn University where he went on to play four seasons with the Statesmen. Pender helped William Penn to three conference championships and four trips to the NAIA National Tournament. Two of those four appearances resulted in trips to the Sweet 16. 

He made the Heart of America All-Conference Honorable Mention team his senior year and holds the career field goal percentage record at William Penn shooting 71% over his four years. 

Ahmad Pender Jr. earned his B.S. from William Penn University majoring in Wellness and Recreation. He is currently a marketing specialist at Kirkwood.
