Bio

 

Jen Francescon (pronounced "fran-ses-ken") is in her 15th season as an assistant coach with the Eagles. She has helped coach four teams to national titles in 2009,'10,’17, and 2022 along with a 2nd place finish in 2018.  In 2023 Francescon was honored as a member of the WBCA Assistant Coach of the Year. Prior to her coaching career, Francescon played two seasons (2002-2004) at Kirkwood, helping them to two national tournament appearances, including a 3rd place finish in 2004. Francescon then transferred on to play at Morningside College where she scored 693 career points and made 134 three-point field goals while helping guide Morningside to a national championship in 2005. During her high school career at Moline, Francescon's teams went undefeated in both her freshman and sophomore seasons, accumulating a 46-0 record. As a senior, she helped her team to an Elite 8 finish and still holds the school record for 3-point percentage at 42%.

Francescon earned her B.S. in Business Management from Morningside College and is currently employed in the Michael J Gould Recreation Center at Kirkwood.
