NO.5 EAGLES SWEEP SOUTHEASTERN

The fifth-ranked Kirkwood Eagles rolled past Southeastern, 25-18, 25-15, 25-16, at Johnson Hall Wednesday night in the ICCAC conference opener.
 
The Eagles raised their record to 9-1 overall and 1-0 ICCAC.
 
Allison Bonnette led the attack with nine kills and Ava Morris added 6. Gracie Ehret accumulated 18 assists.  The Eagles also scored points from the service line, collecting 18 total aces for the match.  Emma Link posted six and Ehret four. 
 
Defensively the Eagles were led by Sierra Marshall with 14 digs, Link and Ehret had 10 apiece. Alyssa Tegeler added four blocks and Morris two.
 
The Eagles will travel to Burlington Friday, playing in the Jimmy John's Tournament hosted by Southeastern.  They play @2pm vs. Highland (IL) and @6pm vs. John Wood.
