Dre Anderson and DaChaun Anderson are not related, but they've become brothers on the Kirkwood men's basketball team this season.

Dre Anderson poured in six 3-pointers and scored 20 points Wednesday night as the 17th-ranked Eagles topped Southwestern Community College, 79-63, in an ICCAC conference game at Johnson Hall.

DaChaun Anderson collected a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds as Kirkwood raised its records to 12-6 overall and 4-2 in the league.

Blake Brinkmeyer contributed 13 points, eight rebounds, and three blocked shots. Caleb Delzell finished with nine rebounds and six assists.

It was the second straight stellar performance for the Andersons. Dre Anderson made five 3-pointers and scored 20 points in a victory over Iowa Central this past Saturday, giving him 11 triples and 40 points
in two games. DaChaun Anderson had 18 points and 16 rebounds against Iowa Central, giving him 30 points and 28 rebounds in the past two outings.

Kirkwood pounded Southwestern (6-10, 1-4) on the backboards, 41-20.
