Kirkwood sophomore James Morgan was the individual champion at the two-day Wartburg Invite at Sunnyside Country Club and Beaver Hill Country Club. Morgan shot a 72 at Sunnyside and a 71 in the second round at Beaver Hill. Morgan and the field fought off the high winds throughout the event. Morgan averaged 71.5 strokes in the two-day tournament, leading Kirkwood to a team tournament title.
