JD Pollard - Kirkwood - Freshman
At the Wartburg College Invite, JD Pollard shot a 78 through the first round and sat in 10th place. He turned the tides and surged to a one-shot victory on day two when he fired a 7-under 63. It propelled him to a 2-under tournament total and a one-shot win over his teammate Brandon McCarty. His effort was an 18-hole school record. Kirkwood won the match by 25 strokes over Hawkeye with a team 576, 4-over par.
