GREAZEL LEADS KCC GOLFERS TO TITLE
IOWA CITY - Grant Greazel captured top honors and led the Kirkwood men's golf team to the championship of the Verhille Invitational at the Finkbine Golf Course Wednesday.
Greazel finished the 36-hole event at 1-under-par 143 with rounds of 71 and 72.
Kirkwood won the 14-team event by 24 shots over Baker University, 584-608.
Five Kirkwood golfers finished in the top-12. Nathan Bratanata tied for third at 3-over 147. Kolby Shackelford and Luke Evans tied for fifth at 4-over 148. Taylor Crisp tied for 12th at 7-over 151.
