Gaston named ICCAC Athlete of the Week | Dec. 9-15
Kirkwood kept their record clean (13-0) this week beating John Wood with ease and squeaking past Bryant and Stratton (Wisc.). Ju Gaston made an impact in both games, the most important coming against No. 13 Bryant and Stratton. Gaston made some clutch free throws down the stretch to seal the deal and remain undefeated. Gaston collected 12 rebounds and accounted for 9 assists over these two games along with 26 points. The Eagles will look to keep their season rolling a couple days before the New Year at the Illinois Central Tournament on Dec. 28 against Carl Sandburg.
