The No. 1 ranked Kirkwood Eagles rattled off three more wins last week to get to 20-1 on the 2019-20 season. Wins over Southwestern, Ellsworth and Little Priest boosted their conference record to 7-0 and their win streak to 5 games. Kemara Watson was highly efficient in limited minutes for the Eagles. She had 10 points and 8 rebounds in 9 minutes against SWCC. In all last week, she scored 48 points in 42 minutes, shooting 68.8% from the field, 10-percent above her season average. Kirkwood (7-0) squares off with NIACC (8-0) in Cedar Rapids on Wednesday with the winner separating the two midway through the conference season.
