
No.8 KCC volleyball drubs Lakers
Cedar Rapids - The Kirkwood women's volleyball team enjoyed a stroll into Johnson Hall on Sunday afternoon.
The eighth-ranked Eagles drubbed Iowa Lakes, 25-4, 25-13, 25-6, in an ICCAC home match.
Emily Strauss led a balanced attack with 11 kills. Katie Kopriva had eight kills, Maggie Peters seven, and Jada Golden-Smith five.
Rachael Nelson collected 28 assists. Allison Pisarcik lead defensively with 12 digs. Golden-Smith added four blocks.
Kirkwood raised its record to 14-4. Iowa Lakes fell to 2-18.
