Wilson Named ICCAC Athlete of the Week for Second Time

CEDAR RAPIDS -- Men's basketball freshman forward Doug Wilson was recently named the ICCAC Athlete of the Week for the second time this season, as announced yesterday by the league office. During the week of Feb. 12-18, Wilson led the Eagles to two conference ones to keep the Eagles undefeated in league play and a three-game lead in first place in the conference standings.

Per the ICCAC:

"...Wilson helped the Eagles soar to two conference wins last week against NIACC and Iowa Lakes. Wilson added a cool 45 points to the scoreboard in the two games for Kirkwood, all from inside the arc and at the line. On defense, Wilson used his height to his advantage. The six-foot-seven-inch forward contributed 18 rebounds and six blocks."
