Golfers Second After Day One at National Preview: Peters scores his first ace

Plymouth, IN – The 3rd ranked Kirkwood men's golf team is in second place after the opening round of the NJCAA Dll National Preview shooting a 291. Seventh-ranked Parkland Community College leads by one stroke with a team score of 290. The two-day, 36-hole tournament is taking place at the par-72, 6,805-yard Swan Lake Resort Golf Course.

Kirkwood's Dawson Peters is currently tied at second place.  Peters shot a 71 in the first round and aced hole No. 16 for his first hole-in-one.  James Morgan carded an even-par scorecard performance while Ryan Morrison and George Kalpakas are tied at 5th with scores of 74.
