CRESTON - Tayana Wilson collected 20 points and five assists Saturday as the second-ranked Kirkwood women's basketball team topped Southwestern, 73-47, to claim sole possession of the ICCAC conference title.

The Eagles raised their records to 26-3 overall and 12-0 in the league with their 16th straight victory. They own a three-game lead in the ICCAC standings with two games remaining.

Wilson, a sophomore point guard, shot 8-for-9 from the field and clicked on four 3-pointers.

Leah Robinson contributed 11 points and seven rebounds for Kirkwood. Mackenzie Jenkins had seven rebounds, six points, four steals and two assists. Megan Axcell scored nine points. Awal Ajak had eight points  and six rebounds.

Keaundra Washington scored 10 points for Southwestern (7-19, 0-12).
