KCC baseball wins 6th straight

PALOS HILLS, Ill. - Levi Usher went 4-for-5 Tuesday as the Kirkwood  Eagles swept a non-conference doubleheader from Moraine Valley, 3-2  and 12-2 in five innings, in Palos Hills, Ill.
 
The Eagles (27-14) have won six straight games.
 
Usher went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI in the 3-2 victory in the opener. Kirby Kerr allowed two runs in six innings for the victory.  Caleb Fuller collected three strikeouts in the seventh inning for a  save.
 
Usher was 2-for-2 with another double and scored four runs in the 12-2  romp in Game 2. Kal Youngquist was 2-for-2 with two RBIs. Lecari Elion allowed only one run in four innings for the victory.
