Kirkwood point guard Alycia Patterson put on a spectacular shooting performance last weekend in the team's 69-41 win over NIACC. The sophomore connected on 8 of 9 three-point attempts off the bench to give her a career-high 24 points. To date, she is ranked No. 1 in the NJCAA in three-point percentage, hitting 55.2 percent (48-87) of her threes. She became the third Eagle to hit eight three-pointers in a game, coming just one short of the team record of nine set by Kirsten Larson in 2015. Kirkwood holds a one-game lead over Iowa Western in the conference standings. They face Marshalltown on Wednesday, before taking on Ellsworth on Saturday.
