Eagles finish 4-0 at Parkland Invite

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Madi Wagaman rolled up 76 assists Saturday as the Kirkwood women's volleyball team finished with a perfect 4-0 record at the Parkland Invitational.
Wagaman furnished 51 assists as the 13th-ranked Eagles trimmed Muskegon, 25-23, 25-27, 23-25, 25-13, 16-14, in a dramatic match. She had 25 more assists as Kirkwood swept Southwestern Illinois, 25-15, 25-23, 25-17.
The Eagles finished 4-0 in the tournament, raising their overall record to 17-7.
Aubrin Dittmer had a big game against Muskegon with 25 kills and 24 digs. Anna Gorsich contributed 14 kills and 19 digs. Maranda Wheelock also had 19 digs and Wagaman finished with 15. Taylor Carey had eight blocks in the victory.
Dittmer had nine kills and eight digs against Southwestern Illinois. Gorsich had eight kills and 11 digs. Carey finished with seven kills and five more blocks. Wheelock had 18 digs, Wagaman 15 and Allison Pisarcik 11.
