Kirkwood went 3-1 last week in four games. Kori Wedeking appeared in two games and ended with a 2-0 record. The freshman turned in 12 strong innings, all against Division I competition. She only allowed four hits and two walks for a WHIP of .5. She outdueled Iowa Western's Brook Melynchuk as the Eagles took down the Reivers 12-2 in her outing. Wedeking has been dominant this season as she sits at the No. 2 spot conference-wide with a 1.17 ERA and 11 wins.
