WATERLOO, IA- On March 28, Kirkwood Community College showcased their offensive and pitching dominance in two decisive victories over Hawkeye Community College in Hudson, IA. The first game ended with a 15-2 score, while the second saw Kirkwood winning 19-2.
Game Summaries: Kirkwood wasted no time asserting their dominance, scoring early and often. In the first game, they exploded for six runs in the opening inning and added seven more in the third. Despite a few offensive bright spots for Hawkeye, they could only manage two runs, one each in the third and fifth innings. In the second game, Kirkwood came out strong with four runs in the first and two in the second, but it was their devastating ten-run fourth inning that sealed the win. Hawkeye struggled throughout, only managing five hits.

Kirkwood's offensive players were the stars. In the first game, P. Johnson went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, and four RBIs, while K.
