Five Eagles Named NFCA All-Americans
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Kirkwood Eagles softball team led all Division II schools with five members being named National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Americans, as announced by the organization today.
Sophomores Monika Bevans and DoniRae Mayhew were named First Team All-Americans. Freshman Rachel Stewart and Lauren Kuch also joined Bevans and Mayhew on the First Team, while fellow freshman Natalie Halvorson was selected to the Second Team.
Bevans was also named the Diamond Sports/NFCA Catcher of the Year.
