HALL LEADS EAGLES TO 4TH TITLE

AMES - Freshman Gannon Hall claimed medalist honors Wednesday as the Kirkwood Eagles won the Jim Currel Invitational at the Ames Golf Course by 19 shots.

Hall fired a 4-over-par 75 Wednesday in windy conditions to capture the title at 147, nipping Spencer Clatt of DMACC by one shot.

Kirkwood won the quadrangular at 34-over-par 602 for its fourth title this fall.

Hall earned his first title of the season. His younger brother Reid, a junior at Cedar Rapids Kennedy, won the Class 4A state golf title this past weekend at Elmcrest Country Club.
