EAGLES TAKE UPPER IOWA GOLF TITLE

WATERLOO - The Kirkwood men's golf claimed top honors at the Upper Iowa University tournament at the Sunnyside Country Club this past weekend.

Kirkwood finished the 36-hole event at 604, trimming Bemidji State by two shots in the 14-team event.

Kolby Shackelford of Kirkwood finished second in the individual standings at 2-over-par 146, placing three shots behind medalist Ben Corbid of Bemidji State.

Gannon Hall tied for third at 3-over 147. Taylor Crisp placed fifth at 4-over 148. Jack Phipps tied for seventh at 7-over 151 and Luke Evans finished ninth at 8-over 152, giving the Eagles five golfers in the
top-10.
