Waterloo, IA- The third-ranked Kirkwood Eagles traveled to Waterloo this past weekend to take on the Waterloo Intercollegiate at Gates Park Golf Course. They would be facing familiar teams such as Iowa Central, Hawkeye, Northeast, and Southwestern. With April coming to a close and May fast approaching the Eagles know that every competition is important leading to the District Tournament.

Day 1 would feature two 18-hole rounds. Kirkwood's team was comprised of Grant Greazel, Quinn Tinkler, Gannon Hall, Frank Haege, and Nathan Bratanata. The Eagles would also have three individuals participating in the tournament that included Leo Burger, Payton Burns, and Tate Brunk. After the first 36 holes, Kirkwood would see two of those individuals shooting the low scores for the squad.
