Howell Named ICCAC Athlete of the Week
AMES -- Sophomore short stop Korry Howell was recently named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference's (ICCAC) Athlete of the Week for Division II baseball, as announced yesterday by the league office.
Per ICCAC:
Howell, a 19th round pick in the 2017 MLB Draft, helped lead the Eagles to a 5-1 record last week. The sophomore finished with a .600 batting average over the six games. The infielder collected three triples, eight RBI, 12 runs and four stolen bases. Howell's nine stolen bases on the season ranks fourth in the ICCAC to date.
