Fullard Earns ICCAC Honors

AMES -- Freshman third baseman Izaya Fullard has been awarded the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference's (ICCAC) Athlete of the Week for his play during the week of April 9-15, as announced yesterday by the league office.

Per the ICCAC:

Kirkwood's freshman third baseman Izaya Fullard dominated at the plate during his appearances. Last week, Fullard exceeded his already high season batting average of .470 by batting .611 (11 of 18). Fullard knocked out one home run and raced to two doubles and knocked eight singles. He picked up four multi-hit games during the week and his 0 for 2 performance against Heartland was just the second time all season without a hit (33 games played). While scoring five times, Fullard brought in seven of his teammates. Kirkwood will host ICCAC Division I opponent Indian Hills on April 19.
