Morgan shares title at Iowa Central golf

FORT DODGE - James Morgan of Kirkwood tied for medalist honors at the Iowa Central Spring Invite at the Fort Dodge Country Club Saturday.

Morgan fired rounds of 72 and 70 for a 36-hole total of 142, which was even par for the 6,573-yard course. He shared the title with Austin Erickson of Iowa Central.

Kolby Shackelford of Kirkwood tied for fourth place at 3-over 145. 

Iowa Central won the title with a two-round score of 575. Kirkwood finished in fourth place out of 13 teams, 30 shots behind the winners.
