Eagles Drop at DMACC

Boone, IA- Kirkwood traveled to Boone, IA on Wednesday night for an impactful conference match against DMACC. The Eagles dropped their first conference match of the year losing in straight sets (13-25, 16-25, 18-25) 

 

The Eagles failed to get it going on Wednesday, struggling to find their rhythm both offensively and defensively. A bright spot for the Eagles was freshman, Emma Meester, who contributed 11 kills on 21 swings, hitting .286. Sydney Matthias put up 21 assists on the night and defensively, Lily VanSeveren, added 10 digs. 

 

The Eagles are traveling to Parkland this weekend for the Parkland Fall Challenge Tournament. Kirkwood opens up play at 12 pm on Friday against Illinois Central.
