VanSeveren Named to Second Team All-American

Cedar Rapids, IA- The Kirkwood Eagles libero, Lily VanSeveren, was honored as a Second Team All-American by the NJCAA DII Volleyball Committee. During the 2023 season, she was honored as the ICCAC Defensive Player of the Week, the NJCAA Defensive Player of the Week, a 1st Team ICCAC All-Region player, and Freshman of the Year in the ICCAC. It has truly been a season full of accolades for the freshman libero and deservedly so. 

VanSeveren helped the Eagles to a 10-1 ICCAC regular season record which was good enough for a share of first this year. She also helped the team earn an at-large bid to the national tournament, a first in school history. Lily had 636 digs on the year, averaging 4.33 a set for the Eagles. She played in every set for the Eagles this year.
