Eagles Go 3-1 at Triton Invitational

Fort Dodge, IA- The #2 ranked Kirkwood Eagles traveled to Fort Dodge this past weekend to compete in the Triton Invitational. The tournament featured the number 1, 2, 5, 10, 16, and 25th ranked teams in the country. Kirkwood would be starting off facing #5 Richard Bland and also play #25 Madison College on the final day of the tournament. 

Kirkwood would end up going 5 games with Richard Bland and unfortunatley falling 12-15 in the fifth to end their 15 game win streak. The rest of the weekend would see them beating Metropolitan 3-1 and sweeping both Neosho and Madison College. 

Kirkwood has one final ICCAC game at Southwestern this Wednesday and then will be the 1 seed in the ICCAC Regional Tournament.
