No.8 Eagles fly past Southeastern
WEST BURLINGTON - The eighth-ranked Kirkwood women's volleyball team swept Southeastern, 25-21, 25-19, 25-15, in an ICCAC match in West Burlington Wednesday night.
The Eagles raised their overall record to 8-2 and 1-0 within the ICCAC.
Emily Strauss led Kirkwood with 16 kills. Kamara Dickerson collected 11 kills, Katie Kopriva nine, and Jada Golden-Smith five.
Rachael Nelson rolled up 39 assists in three sets. Dickerson had 11 digs, with Takoa Kopriva and Nelson supplying 10 apiece.
Golden-Smith and Dani Stock each added 4 blocks.
