NO.10 EAGLES FLY BY SOUTHWESTERN
CRESTON - The 10th-ranked Kirkwood women's volleyball team celebrated Sophomore Night and then went on to crush Southwestern, 25-4, 25-16, 25-13, in an ICCAC match in Creston Wednesday night.
The Eagles raised their records to 23-10 overall and 7-1 in the conference.
Emily Strauss led Kirkwood with 14 kills. Danielle Stock had 10 kills and Jada Golden-Smith seven.
Rachael Nelson collected 25 assists. Defensive leaders for the Eagles were Kamara Dickerson with 11 digs and Stock with six blocks.
The Eagles are back on the road Friday with a non-conference match at DI Indian Hills. It's a 3 pm match at the Hellyer Center in Ottumwa.
