No.8 Eagles bump off Northeast

NORFOLK, Neb. - The eighth-ranked Kirkwood women's volleyball team knocked off Northeast Community College, 25-20, 25-8, 25-22, in an ICCAC conference match in Nebraska Tuesday night.

The Eagles raised their overall record to 14-5 and remained undefeated in the ICCAC with a 4-0 conference mark, good for a half-game lead over top-ranked Iowa Central (3-0).

Kamara Dickerson led Kirkwood with 10 kills and 14 digs. Emily Strauss provided nine kills. Katie Kopriva added eight kills for the Eagles.

Rachael Nelson distributed 35 assists in three sets. Takoa Kopriva and Emma Link had 11 digs. Katie Kopriva also added seven blocks.
