No.9 Eagles cruise past NIACC
The ninth-ranked Kirkwood women's volleyball team raised its record to 5-0 in the ICCAC conference with a 25-11, 25-14, 25-19 victory over NIACC at Johnson Hall Wednesday night.
The Eagles are tied with top-ranked Iowa Central for first place in the league.
Emily Strauss led Kirkwood with 12 kills. Jada Golden-Smith collected nine kills and five blocks.
Katie Kopriva finished with eight kills. Kamara Dickerson had five kills and 12 digs. Rachael Nelson dished out 23 assists.
The Eagles are 17-7 overall.
