NO.3 EAGLES ROLL PAST NIACC
The third-ranked Kirkwood women's volleyball team swept NIACC, 25-9, 25-14, 25-15, in an ICCAC conference match at Johnson Hall Wednesday night.
The Eagles, who climbed two spots in the national rankings this week, raised their overall record to 12-1.
Allison Bonnette led the attack with 10 kills. Lexi Hearn contributed eight kills, Alyssa Tegeler six and Ava Morris five.
Gracie Ehret distributed 21 assists and Grace Embretson had nine. Sierra Marshall made eight digs. Tegeler blocked seven shots and Bonnette snuffed
six.
Kirkwood will be hosting its own tournament this Friday and Saturday.
