Seales brothers help No.8 Eagles beat Reivers
COUNCIL BLUFFS - Corvon Seales and Cortaviaus Seales played key roles Saturday as the eighth-ranked Kirkwood Eagles dunked Iowa Western, 76-60, at Reiver Arena in Council Bluffs.
Corvon Seales popped in four 3-pointers and led the Eagles with 17 points. Cortaviaus Seales, his younger brother, led the Eagles with six assists as Kirkwood (3-1) won its third straight game of the young season.
Blake Brinkmeyer scored 11 points for Kirkwood. Jaden Keller finished with 10 points and a game-high nine rebounds. Caleb Delzell contributed nine points and eight rebounds. Joich Gong scored nine points. Blessin Kimble added eight points and seven rebounds to the road verdict.
Roland McCoy and Dewayne Vass scored 12 points for Iowa Western (2-2).
