King sparks No.4 Eagles by Southwestern

Noah King canned four 3-pointers and scored 17 points Saturday as the fourth-ranked Kirkwood Eagles topped Southwestern, 66-61, in an ICCAC conference game at Johnson Hall.

The Eagles raised their records to 4-2 overall and 4-2 in the league.

Corvon Seales scored 14 points for Kirkwood. Caleb Delzell finished with eight points and eight rebounds. Blake Brinkmeyer grabbed seven rebounds for the Eagles.

Kirkwood's biggest lead was a 10-point advantage late in the first half. The Eagles outscored Southwestern at the foul line, 24-10.

James Kelley scored a game-high 19 points for Southwestern (3-3, 3-3).
