Eagles win on the road

The Kirkwood men's basketball team traveled to Iowa Falls, IA Wednesday night and captured their 6^th win in a row behind another strong defensive effort. The Eagles took an 11-point lead into halftime where they lead by a score of 29-18. Though their offense continued to struggle in the second half the defense stayed strong, which led to the Eagles getting a 59-45 victory on the road. The win pushes Kirkwood's record to 11-6 overall and 11-6 in ICCAC play.

Kirkwood is back in action on Saturday when they travel to Creston, IA to take on Southwestern CC (9-8). This will be the second matchup between the Eagles and the Spartans. The first matchup resulted in a 66-61 victory for Kirkwood.
