No.18 KCC men dunked by DMACC

The 18th-ranked Kirkwood men's basketball team lost to fifth-ranked DMACC, 77-65, in an ICCAC game at Johnson Hall Saturday afternoon.

The Eagles pulled within 64-60 on a 3-pointer by Noah King with 2:40 remaining, but DMACC scored five straight points to regain control at 69-60.

Corvon Seales led Kirkwood with 13 points and seven assists. Jaden Keller, Blake Brinkmeyer, and Blessin Kimble scored 10 points apiece. Keller grabbed nine rebounds.

Ryan Schmitt, a 7-foot center, led DMACC with 20 points. Willie Guy collected a double-double with 15 points and 10 assists.

Kirkwood fell to 12-8 for the season. DMACC, which swept the season series from the Eagles, raised its record to 15-4.
