KCC men fall at Southeastern

WEST BURLINGTON - The Kirkwood men's basketball team had trouble shooting Wednesday night and lost to Southeastern, 65-51, on the road in West Burlington.

The Eagles made only 31.4 percent of their shots, hitting 16 of 51 from the floor. They also hurt themselves at the foul line, making only 14 of 23 for 60.9 percent.

Kirkwood committed 20 turnovers in the 40-minute game to compound their problems.

Noah King, Blake Brinkmeyer and Blessin Kimble scored nine points apiece for the Eagles (4-3). Kimble grabbed nine rebounds. Chris Burnell had five assists.

Koby Isaac scored 21 points for Southeastern (4-3).
