No.19 KCC men win 4th straight

MASON CITY - The 19th-ranked Kirkwood men's basketball team has gotten on a roll.

The Eagles won their fourth straight game Wednesday night by drilling NIACC, 81-53, in an ICCAC contest in Mason City.

Kirkwood (9-6) took control early with a 19-2 spurt to begin the ballgame and was never threatened.

Blake Brinkmeyer hit 9-of-11 shots and led the Eagles with 19 points and five rebounds. Chris Burnell hit three 3-pointers and scored 15 points. Corvon Seales contributed 10 points and six assists.

Jaden Keller snared 12 rebounds as Kirkwood dominated the backboards, 53-29.
