ROE SOCKS 5 HOMERS FOR NO.11 EAGLES

FORT DODGE - Sydney Roe belted five home runs as the 11th-ranked Kirkwood softball team swept a four-game series against Iowa Central in Fort Dodge.

The Eagles prevailed 14-6, 11-10, 16-3 and 8-4, raising their records to 32-9 overall and a perfect 16-0 in the ICCAC conference.

Roe went 4-for-4 with four runs, three homers and seven RBIs in the 14-6 victory in Game 1. She finished the series by going 7-for-14 with eight runs, five homers and 12 RBIs.

Grace Lubben went 4-for-11 with 10 runs, two homers and six RBIs. Emilee Linder was 6-for-17 with four runs and seven RBIs.

Peggy Klingler went 4-for-10 with two homers and six runs. Annie Gahan was 4-for-11 with five runs and three RBIs. Brooke Kilburg was 4-for-12. Neveah Hildebrandt scored six runs.
