Roe Named ICCAC Athlete of the Week

Kirkwood's Sydney Roe packed some power last week for Kirkwood who went 7-1 in an active week of softball. The freshman first baseman picked up 11 hits in 27 at-bats (.407) --- eight of those going for extra bases. She had two doubles and six home runs -- which drove in 17. She came around 13 times to score herself. In 41 games, Roe leads the ICCAC in RBI (52) and total bases (104). She is top five in hits (54) and home runs (12). Roe is batting .425 with a slugging percentage. Kirkwood is in first place in the conference at 16-0 with an overall record of 33-10.
