No.6 KCC volleyball sweeps NIACC

MASON CITY - The sixth-ranked Kirkwood women's volleyball team swept NIACC, 25-19, 25-16, 25-23, in an ICCAC match in Mason City Thursday night.

Katie Kopriva and Emily Strauss collected eight kills apiece as the Eagles raised their record to 12-3 overall. Kamara Dickerson and Anna Gorsich contributed five kills apiece.

Rachael Nelson dished out 15 assists. Allison Pisarcik made 17 digs and had two service aces. Dickerson had 10 digs. 

Kopriva and Maggie Peters each added 5 blocks.

The Eagles are home on Sunday at 2pm vs. Iowa Western CC.
