Anna Gorsich named ICCAC Athlete of the Week

Kirkwood extended their win streak after going 3-0 this week and only dropping one set in those matches. Anna Gorsich's powerful hitting was a big reason for the Eagles' success. She had 35 kills in ten sets. The sophomore hit a very respectable .216 on 97 attempts, showing how much Kirkwood coaches and setters trust the fact that she can generate results. On top of the impressive hitting numbers, Gorsich got the job done when she was serving with six service aces to add to her stats. For the second straight year, she earned Region XI Tournament MVP honors.
