No.2 Eagles drub Southeastern, 111-27

WEST BURLINGTON - The women's basketball game between Kirkwood and Southeastern Wednesday night was a mismatch from the opening tip to the final horn.

The second-ranked Eagles drubbed Southeastern, 111-27, for their sixth straight win of the season.

Kirkwood outscored the Blackhawks, 63-15, in the second half.

Ashley Tull led the Eagles with 19 points. Dominique Rodriguez scored 16, Kemara Watson 15, Maddie Paulsen 12 and Tatiana Hodges-Johnson 10.

Kirkwood Coach Kim Muhl had 12 players in uniform Wednesday and all of them played at least 10 minutes.

Kirkwood connected on 68.1 percent of its shots, hitting 47 of 69. Tull shot 9-for-11 and Rodriguez was 6-for-6 with four 3-pointers.

The Kirkwood men lost their game to Southeastern, 64-51.
