Seales shines for Kirkwood men

FORT DODGE - Corvon Seales poured in 27 points Saturday as the Kirkwood men's basketball team finished the regular season with an 84-73 victory at Iowa Central.

Seales nailed 13 of 15 shots from the field in his stellar performance. Blessin Kimble contributed 17 points and 10 rebounds off the bench to help boost the 20th-ranked Eagles. Noah King added 13 points.

Kirkwood (13-9) drew the No. 3 seed for the regional tournament and will host No. 6 NIACC (7-15) Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the quarterfinals.

PJ Ngambi scored 20 points for Iowa Central (6-15).
