Top-ranked Eagles win on the road
MASON CITY - The Kirkwood women's basketball team continued to drub its opponents Wednesday night.
The top-ranked Eagles dumped NIACC, 73-46, in an ICCAC game in Mason City.
Kirkwood has a perfect 14-0 record and has outscored its opponents by 467 points for a winning margin of 33.4 points per game.
The Eagles have won games this season by 84, 57, 53, 43, 41, and 40 points. The closest games were a pair of seven-point victories in the first two games of the year.
Karsyn Stratton led Kirkwood with 13 points. Ashley Tull contributed 12 points and eight rebounds. Tatiana Hodges-Johnson netted 11 points.
