No.2 KCC women win by 68 points
IOWA FALLS - The Kirkwood women's basketball team drubbed Ellsworth, 103-35, in an ICCAC mismatch in Iowa Falls Wednesday night.
The second-ranked Eagles raised their record to 15-1.
Kemara Watson led Kirkwood with a career-high 21 points. Kortney Drake scored 15 points and Tasia Jordan added 11.
The Eagles led, 53-10, at halftime and headed into the fourth quarter with an 88-19 advantage.
The 17th-ranked Kirkwood men's basketball team defeated Ellsworth, 59-45, in the second game of the doubleheader. The Eagles (11-6) have won six straight games.
Kirkwood plays at Southwestern Saturday afternoon.
