Eagles advance to the Region XI-A finals
Kirkwood advanced to the ICCAC Region XI-A Finals with an 80-50 victory over visiting Ellsworth on Tuesday night at Johnson Hall.
The Eagles improved to 20-1 on the season and will host Southwestern Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm with the winner advancing to the NJCAA DII National Tournament.
Kirkwood finished with four players in double figures - sophomores Ashley Tull & Tatiana Hodges-Johnson and freshmen Tasia Jordan and Corey Whitlock all finished with 10 points.
Tull also grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds to finish with a double-double.
